Projects
The Initial Metaverse
Curation & Scenography & Performance
Post Production & Digital Design
Character Design & AR & 3D Printing
This project is my artistic imagination for the metaverse and future human lifestyle. The exhibition aims to turn the vision of the future world in the experimental audio-visual works into reality through installations, performances and AR interactive experiences, complete the connection between the virtual world and the real world, and express my expectations for the new millennium.
Cybersapiens
Curation & Scenography
Post Production & 3D Modeling
Character Design & AR
Our body exists, but desire and cognition are immersed in the virtual. We hope to find the sheltered cyber self. We will reshape the untouchable virtual electronic world in the real world. The dynamic physical space collides and blends with the unpredictable AR space, creating a shelter that blurs the boundary between reality and virtual space.
Memory Loop
Character Design & Video Game
Performance & Costume Design
This is a fantasy of self-compensation across time and space. Some of the past scenes have been pestering our normal life, but we don't know why. We dream of using our present consciousness to sneak into our childhood body, sneaking into deep oceans of consciousness and unconsciousness, picking up trivial memory puzzles, making up for all kinds of regrets & forgotten beautiful memories in the past, and getting back to our original selves.
Urban Senses
Post Production & Performance
This is a performance art in Trafalgar Square. The performance was intended to express the inner refusal of people to reach out to our city during COVID-19, with few opportunities to stop and quietly feel the emotions of the city, to touch or listen to the heart of the city. The virus has isolated people from the city and distanced them from each other. We hope that with this performance we can make people slow down, care, think and feel about our city.
City Kaleidoscope
Post Production & Performance
Under the varicoloured world, we always feel lonely, and there will always be a moment when we feel isolated by the city, which makes our spirits twisted, like a world in a kaleidoscope. We enclosed ourselves in a glass house, we could see the outside, but couldn't reach the outside, so we wanted to simplify our life and make everything simple.
Micro
World
Material Experiment
Post Production & Performance
The human consciousness is a rhizome and we inhabit its multiplicity in our daily life. A single person can change throughout the day as much as they do in a lifetime. In this performance we challenge our perception of reality, combine their sensibilities and open up their periphery using video, live performance and material research.
Camden Market Dérive
Stop Motion Animation
& Post Production
This is a project that uses stop-motion animation to showcase a city-derived theme. We researched the Camden market and opened our senses to recreate the scene by recording sounds, taking photographs and remembering the flavours. The experience drew us closer to the city.
Origin and Health
Filming & Post Production
Our body always acts as the receptor and effector when there’s something happening with our emotions and our mind. It might come from the outside environment or the inside of ourselves. We see, touch, hear, smell and taste, sometimes they result in some disorders in our brain and come along with some effect, then they go to our heart, then feedback to our eyes, hands, ears, noses and mouths.
A Location
Filming & Post Production
This is a filming exercise after I watched Stefan Landorf’s “JAN T. ZEN – OR THE ART OF GOING BANKRUPT AS A DENTIST”, 1998. With the theme of "A Location", a video of a corner of the room was shot. I aim to reduce the transitional artificial modification and background music, and simply use the camera to record the meaning, atmosphere, rhythm and mood of a space. I demonstrate the passage of time and the dramatic changes in space by recording the dripping of water and the rotting of the fruit.
'Body Map'
Healthy Lifestyle
Shop and SPA
Interior Design
Retail & Leisure
The "Body Map" healthy lifestyle shop and spa aim to sell professional wellness products and provide spa wellness services to help consumers find a healthy lifestyle.
This project is centred on a 'healthy lifestyle', using human organs (eyeball, heart, skin and spine) as design elements, envisioning it as a complex with experiential leisure space, online and physical shopping stores.
Interior Design & Architectural Design
Residential Design
As a residential building, this project is a mountain villa designed for a jeweller. Starting from the users’ profession, I was inspired by a series of transmutation processes from the exploration of diamonds, including raw stone mining, cutting, polishing and inlaying.
Interior Design & Architectural Design
Public building Design
With the social background that electronic media are gradually replacing paper media, newsstands have become people's past memory. This project is a public building located in Xiamen, China, a renovated and upgraded newsstand. The new design is to summarise and classify the original newsstand's various functions, divided and distributed in densely populated bases. The new functions include four small spaces, which were a street convenience store, a small book bar, a scrapbook labyrinth and a memory gallery.
'Wild Animal'
Home Decorations
Shop
Interior Design
Retail
The theme of this project is sustainable development. I was paying attention to sustainable development in design concepts and design materials. The direction I chose was to explore the relationship between wildlife and sustainable development and environmental protection.
Interior Design
Exhibition Design
This project was designed as an exhibition hall for the Thomas Cook Group to exhibit the achievements of Thomas Cook and to showcase the businesses it is involved in. The main design element was the Thomas Cook logo, which was developed into an immersive exhibition hall.
